Hello and Welcome.
Kiranjit Janagal is a social innovator, cognitive behavioural psychotherapist, founder, coach and TEDx speaker specialising in prevention-first approach to physical and mental health.
With over 15 years of experience across the NHS, private practice, and community organisations, her work focuses on addressing the structural limitations of crisis-led support. She advocates for a shift towards preventative, holistic, and culturally informed models that support individuals and communities to maintain wellbeing before escalation.
About.
Kiranjit is the Founder of Keeping People Well CIC, a social enterprise advancing early intervention and accessible mental health support, having developed the Keeping People Well Model—a practical framework designed to embed mental health into everyday life through education, movement, and community-based approaches.
She serves as a Board Trustee at Kaleidoscope, contributing to the development of more equitable and innovative health and social care systems, and as the Founding Country Ambassador (UK) for ATLAS, supporting global efforts to decolonise psychological sciences and promote inclusive, community-led models of care.
Her work sits at the intersection of health system transformation, community and culturally-informed mental health, and organisational wellbeing, with a focus on influencing policy, practice, and system design.

Public Engagement.
Kiranjit’s mission is to move mental health beyond crisis response and into the fabric of daily life—supporting the development of systems where wellbeing is proactively built in, rather than retrospectively addressed.
